First Steps Into the Valley

When you first start playing you will have to choose a farm style. I didn’t really look at the others because they all looked alike at first.

I chose the first, regular farm Had a lot of farmlands to grow and build on.

Not completely sure of the how’s and why’s I plunged in. I did not think ahead just placing buildings and the likes in a messy manner. I didn’t realize that until much later in the game what I had done. I thought it looked great. It wasn’t but that’s OK!

Saving up for money was hard. You really have to build those resources before you can do anything. It was tedious to say the least.

I built barns and coups to house animals. I had the normal from pigs to fowls. What a mix. Not thinking much about the cost of them and the amount of cash from their production to be received. Took a bit to really figure out the money makers.

Planting and sowing were so boring. Something you nearly have to do. Why? You are a farmer after all and farmers grow crops. The amount of work you have to put in sometimes feels overwhelming.

It does pay off so there is that.

After pretty much tackling that small part of the game it was time to move on.

There is hardly ever a down time. Between farming, feeding and other things, you have to build your skills at the same time.

I really suggest taking the time in learning what to do. Relax and enjoy the game.

That is easier said than done.
