Staring to play Stardew Valley was really a whim. I found this on Steam and thought that it looked so cute!
Purchasing the game was so much easier than starting to play. It had been years since I had played any game, but I thought how hard could it be to?
Well, it was harder for me at first. I tried and tried but there were a few skills I just could not for the life of me figure out.
With frustration mounting with each session, I finally just stopped playing. I put the game on the back burner for two months.
Finally, I asked my youngest son to show me how to do this. He laughed and showed me. I must admit that what he showed me was so easy I was embarrassed by my lack of patience.
Finally, I began playing the game and have not stopped since.
I always jokingly blame my son for my obsession with this game.
One thing that is for certain this game is addictive!
